Name: Kais Lung Age: 19
Appearance: Kais is tall man, about 6.2 feet tall.He has a heavy and somewhat muscular appearance. He has thin sideburns which indicates that he clearly is a Fire Nation soldier. His face is long and has relatively small eyes. He has a medium nose with small lips. His chin is sharp and it gets thin from jaws to the chin. He wears his uniform most of the time when he is out on journey but wears a black and dark red kimono in towns and friendly places. He connects his pants and kimono with a golden silk sash.
Personality: Being a firebender, he has a very arrogant and moody attitude toward the world, but he his the opposite to his friends. He clearly protects himself from the world by putting a distance in between. When one first meets him, he looks like a downright cold person with no feelings, but if one can bare that attitude and get to know him more, he gets very protective and sincere to his friends.He is also very bad tempered and can get unnecessarily angry with something so little. This kind of attitude brought him many troubles throughout his life.
History: Early Life Kais was born in a military family, one that has served Fire Lord Azulon and Fire Lord Ozai with pride. His father side has brought many great generals to the Fire Nation, and her mother's lineage had been a trader family. There has been many disputes between his mother's and his father's family. The main reason for the dispute was that his mother's family was consisted of only non-benders, and his father's side thought benders were superior to that of non-benders. He grew up under the influence of his father's side until he was enrolled for the Military Academy of the Fire Nation.
Education and Training: He had shown a great deal of skill and aptitude during his years of academic training. He was taught the delicate art of war and strategies in both land and sea. It was not a surprise for him that his tactician skills in land surpassed the skills of sea, as it was a family tradition. He learned many things during the years of school, many things have come to pass, but the most important he learned that the concept of Honor and dignity is not earned by lineage of blood, but only by good will and courageous actions. He learned that even the enemy has Honor in its cause, and should be granted as such. After that day he swore he would do the right thing. After his training he had two choices in front of him. He could either be a nobleman and live happy and rich, or he could become a soldier and start from scratch. With his young mind he chose the second without hesitation. All of the family was disappointed with that decision. However his father saw something in him; he saw himself, so his father let him go, by giving him the sword of his grandfather.
The Military Career Because of the fact that he had completed the Military Academy, he was going to enter the army as Captain. He journeyed through the sea into the earth kingdom, where he was going to face his first rite, the rite of Skill. He was give the command of a small battalion, consisting of 20-30 soldiers. His duty was to cover and protect the fire benders from soldiers while they take out the earth benders. He was successful in that which gave him a great sense of accomplishment and glory, later that night, he joined the feast the commander was giving, though unbeknown to him he was going to go through the second rite, the rite of Patience.The night started out pretty good, and the commander started out by a toast. He could've never known that he had endure such insults to the people of the Earth Kingdom and the people who don't fight in the war, yet he did, but barely.
Journey Starts He knew that he couldn't spend another second with those guys in the battlefront, so he requested his transfer to a bigger army, as long as it is not here. However, he feared that a bigger army might be worse than that. As he was to the mail office, he heard earth shaking sounds, he feared the worst,. He walked up to the main center only to see the camp being ambushed by rebel earth benders. With quick movements and coordination he was able to take out one earth bender and save two of the soldiers. They fled to the tree line, and to the nearest outpost from there. He returned to the capital as a seasoned combatant officer, only to await new orders, and if not help his brothers on front line. And so his fortune starts.
Water; Earth; Fire; Air. Long ago, the Four Nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all Four Elements, could stop them; but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed, and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar -- an Airbender named Aang, and although his Airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe... Aang can save the world.
