Etsuko walked quietly near the walls of the Castle in the Fire Nation, trying very hard not to be noticed. Two bottles of water was in her pocket so if someone attacked her, she could use her waterbending skills to defend herself. Suddenly, two guards grabbed her from behind,"Hey!!"one bottle slipped out of her pocket and fell to the ground.
"Let me go you creeps!" Etsuko screamed as they brought her into the throne room. A young lady of about 14 or 15 sat on one of the thrones, grinning slyly at Etsuko. Then, with a wave of her hand, the guards let go of Etsuko's arms,"Who are you?" the lady asked,"I'm not telling you my name unless you tell yours first." Etsuko said firmly.
"Why should I? Why have you come here?!" the woman's voice rose,"I just want to know if Prince Zuko is back." Etsuko put her hand in her pocket for her bottle,"My brother? Oh, please, you can forget about him! Throw her in jail!" Etsuko quickly took out the bottle and did the single-bending skill as the guys leapt at her,"Sorry, can't stay." Etsuko directed the water back into the bottle and ran out,"Seize her!" the lady shrieked.
"uh-oh..." she murmured. Etsuko was surrounded by Fire Nation guards,"This is what I get for coming to find him."Her eyes saw that they were near the waters, so Etsuko created a big tidal wave for distraction and ran off.

now what?Etsuko thoughtwait, how did I ever get in here anyway?okay, I SERIOUSLY need someone to rescue me now!!she panicked and clutched her bottle tightly, glancing around for an escape way.

Cloaked, Taed Xoa made his way over the last wall and into the courtyard of the Fire Nation's capital palace. He glanced around, and was about to go on when he noticed two horrible things: a tidal wave, and a girl surrounded by guards.

"I'm gonna get killed for this, I'm gonna get killed for this," he muttered, drawing up a large band of blue fire between his hands and directing toward the nearest three guards. "And if I don't, I'm gonna get jailed for this... or drowned, one of the two."

Etsuko turned around and saw a young man attempting to attack the guards with a blue flame. She quickly opened her bottle and used the single-bending skill to attack the guards,"I think I'm gonna lose this battle!" she said to the man,"Fire opposes water and vice versa......oh." she said and hit a guard with the water.

Taed grinned despite the situation. "Just don't oppose me, I'm trying to help." He happened to glance up just in time and dodged a fierce kick from one of the unbound soldiers. The three contained soldiers were falling over.

"Oh come on, fellas!" he said loudly, sending another barrage of blue fire in several directions. "Just a poor waterbender, not doing anything wrong. Why detain her?" A light bulb came on and he signalled the girl to come over quickly.

Etsuko hurried over to him, "Thanks..." Etsuko covered the cap of her bottle and gave him a smile, "That's it. I'm never coming back to the Fire Nation unless I've a fire bender with me..."

"Not a bad idea, but I'm not a great choice, I'm technically banned from the —- oh, they're coming over here," Taed observed a little late. He began to build a big flash of fire. "Sorry we can't stay, boys, but you've got trouble of your own!" He pointed to the looming tidal wave, still waiting for a new order, and then threw the fire down to blind the soldiers. He started to run away, hoping the waterbender would follow.

Etsuko ran after the mysterious firebender,the water in her bottle flowed from side to side, making her nervous,"What now?" she called after him.

The Island of Mothhaudh

Taed woke up in the cabin of the ship. He blinked for a moment, then bolted up, hitting his head on the bunk above in the process. "OW!" he yelped, rubbing his head. "How did I get in here? Are we..." He paused, then opened the door. Just outside were all of the firebenders, Etsuko, and Syri.

"Guys, we can relax! We made it in the Tests! Look!" He pointed at the sea bats. They seemed to be flitting around, blocked by some invisible wall. Their shots of fire were still hitting the bats, but the creatures could not get near them anymore.

"Relax?" she thought and brushed her long dark hair back.
"So...what do we do now?" Etsuko asked Taed, glancing around her in great excitement.

*yawns*
"No kidding..." Syri said while looking around at everyone else with a tired expression.

Taed stared back at the island. "We should be able to find my family easily once we land," he grinned. He could already feel the rush of energy, the island's spirits coming out to welcome him home. Three years... he was a little concerned about changes to the island, but it didn't matter. He was back.

"SO this is where you where born? Do all the occupants have blue fire?" Zhou Tai walked up cleaning his kukri," That bat that attacked you, it tried it with me. My eye reflected somthing, but I just looked at it my eye burned and the bat changed direction. Do you know what that was about?"

"So do we follow you to see your family or do you want to have some privacy with them? I could take a walk around here in the meantime...." Etsuko mumbled to Taed and walked away, a strange gust of wind blowing against her face.

"Hey, Taed sorry about attacking you and the waterbenders. This place really seems nice. You can trust me.......... for now." Zuran looked at the scenery and then back at Taed. "Will the people here attack me since I work for the Fire Lord?"

Etsuko grinned when she heard what Zuran said. The last sentence.
"They sure will." she thought and stopped. She leaned against the railings and stared out at the sea.
